flux-

flux- embraces slow-making through hand-stitched words embroidered onto an endless soft-sculpture form, encompassing lived experiences of people with female reproductive anatomy. Adopting a relational aesthetic lens, this installation exists to facilitate an ongoing conversation concerning ever-changing relationships with the body and encourages unique encounters that breathe new meaning into the work. Momentary breaks in the solid fabric signify vulnerability, exposing the skeletal stitching underneath.
