Bella Lubcke is a Boorloo-based multidisciplinary artist currently completing a Bachelor of Contemporary Arts at Edith Cowan University. Concerned with ideas of gender, culture, interactivity, and playfulness, Bella's work takes the form of textile and soft sculpture pieces, performance, photography, and video. Bella's emerging body of work is interested in the role of interaction and performance in the art-making process, being led by the documentation of participants 'playing' with large-scale soft sculptures.
